Seq. 01 - "Dolphacuda Attack" (Episode 204: Three Days of the Mom-dor)

ACTION

Part Two of a cliffhanger, this episode opens with secret agent Pam-I-Am's disabled speedboat continuing to take on water as she fends off a pod of man-eating Dolphacudas (dolphin-barracuda hybrid).  I set out to portray the frolicking pod's playful terrorizing of Pam as borderline sadistic.

Seq. 01 - "E.B. Races Home" (Episode 206: You Only Mom Twice)

ACTION, DRAMA

After staying out all night with a cute boy from the wrong side of the wall, lovestruck E.B. (Elanabeth) sprints home through the narrow streets of Zookia, frantic to get back before her strict stepfather Guy-Am-I wakes up.  It's a race against the clock (in the form of the morning sun's encroaching daylight).

Seq. 05 - "Pam's Apartment" (Episode 208: The Sam Who Came in From the Cold)

DRAMA, COMEDY

Successfully completing their spy mission, Pam flies her son Sam-I-Am back to her hi-tech penthouse apartment for some well earned R&R.  This is the series' emotional payoff, the moment Sam's been longing for his entire orphaned life: home cooked green eggs and ham made with love by his real mother.

Seq. 01 - "Zit Lab Showdown" (Episode 210: The Mom Who Loved Me)

ACTION

Pam confronts Guy over the destructive weapon he's built the Zooks to use against the Yooks.  She's on a mission to dismantle his bomb, not realizing Guy's already in the process of taking it apart himself.  It's a Comedy of Errors as they stumble over each other, unknowingly trying to achieve the same goal.

"Zit Lab Showdown" Script Pages

I sought to infuse more kinetic energy into the dialogue-heavy pages for Pam and Guy's conflict.  My solution was to stage their face-off atop a motorized maintenance staircase, escalating their conflict to an aggressive tug of war with the throttle lever.  Now, whoever controls the staircase controls the bomb.
