This bonding moment between Kazorn and Uni is the dark night of the soul Act Two break, with each laying his emotional cards on the table. To add some levity, I created a pair of Laurel & Hardy-type goblin prisoners silently observing the heartfelt conversation, comically reacting from the peanut galery.

"Tough Love" Script Pages
In the script, this poignant dialogue takes place in a storage room where Kazorn and Uni have barricaded themselves from enemy soldiers. In the story sketches it changed to a prison, with Kazorn unable to open Uni's locked cell. The stakes are the same, but now there's a physical barrier between them.
