This bonding moment between Kazorn and Uni is the Dark-Night-of-the-Soul Act Two break, with each laying his emotional cards on the table. To add some levity, I created a pair of Laurel & Hardy-type goblin prisoners observing from the peanut gallery, comically reacting to the heartfelt conversation.

"Tough Love" Script Pages
In the script, this poignant dialogue takes place in a storage room where Kazorn and Uni have barricaded themselves from enemy soldiers. In the story sketches it changed to a prison, with Kazorn unable to open Uni's locked cell. The stakes are the same, but now there's a physical barrier between them.
