Based on the Darkmouth middle-grade book series, this project has lots of great fantasy elements for a story artist to sink his teeth into. Like monsters. Lots and lots of monsters! Head monster hunter Hugo gets captured, so it's up to his clumsy hunter-in-training son Finn to rescue him and save the town.

The devil is in the details in these action packed script pages. As a story artist, I read the stage direction "A chaotic morass of monsters, townspeople and Hunters" an open invitation to have some fun with the material. So I decapitated a group of monsters with a speeding school bus stop sign.
