Traveling to Paris to rekindle their romantic "zing", Johnny sneaks Mavis up to the roof of The Louvre Museum with a panoramic view of the city, reminiscent of their first date on the roof of the Hotel in Transylvania. This tender sequence didn't require gagging up. It was best left to the sincerity of the moment.

This heartfelt moment was scripted short but sweet in one page. I did manage to incorporate a few innocuous visual gags into my story sketches: Mavis arriving at the landing ahead of Johnny to offer a helping hand, and Johnny hanging his backpack on the stone carved lions' mouth are two examples.
