"Tough Love" is a dark night of the soul Act Two break. Kazorn and Uni lay their emotional cards on the table, finally dropping facades and confessing their fears. To add some levity, I came up with a couple of goblin prisoners as comic relief, showing them reacting to Kazorn and Uni's heartfelt conversation.

Tough Love Script Pages
In the script, this poignant dialogue takes place in a storage room where Kazorn and Uni have barricaded themselves from enemy soldiers. In the story sketches it changed to a prison, with Kazorn unable to open Uni's locked cell. The stakes are the same, but now there's a physical barrier between them.
