The original concept for my first year CalArts film was a boy opening his Christmas presents from Santa and being disappointed with all the crappy gifts, each lamer than the next.  However, I struggled thinking up that one last terrible toy and a funny ending.  Ultimately I decided to reverse engineer the story.  Instead, now the gifts are all really cool, but Timmy himself is the problem.  It's a bit of a dark film in retrospect, hence Spike & Mike's interest in it.
